I am at a loss to find adequate superlatives to describe the Coast Guard chorale's performance Wednesday night at Memorial Chapel.

"Spectacular" is an understatement. There were inspired arrangements, exquisite precision, rich harmonies, depth and range of dynamics and expressiveness and clarity of every syllable - even at breathtaking tempos. And such humor. Every moment was a musical delight.

It was very possibly one of the best concerts I have ever attended. The entire program was so stirring and powerful. I wish all the chorale members godspeed as they travel in Italy to present this concert in cities there. Those who hear them will be enriched and blessed.
