Three UConn players received All-Big East honors.
Alex Oriakhi was named to the All-Big East rookie team. Sophomore Kemba Walker and senior Jerome Dyson earned All-Big East third team honors.
Here's a rundown of the teams:
All-Big East first team: Georgetown's Greg Munroe, Notre Dame's Luke Harangody, South Florida's Dominique Jones, Syracuse's Wes Johnson, Villanova's Scottie Reynolds and West Virginia's Da`Sean Butler.
All-Big East second team: Georgetown's Austin Freeman, Marquette's Lazar Hayward, Pittsburgh's Austin Gibbs, Seton Hall's Jeremy Hazell and Syracuse's Andy Rautins
All-Big East third team: Dyson, Walker, Louisville's Samardo Samuels, Villanova's Corey Fisher and West Virginia's Devin Ebanks.
All-Big East honorable mention: Marquette's Jimmy Butler, Notre Dame Tim Abromaitis and Providence's Jamine Peterson.
All-Big East rookie team: Oriakhi, Cincinnati's Lance Stephenson, Providence's Vincent Council, Villanova's Maalik Wayns, Syracuse's Brandon Triche and Dane Miller of Rutgers.
The Big East will announce awards for top defensive player, most improved, sixth man and sportsmanship award Monday.
Awards for player, rookie and coach of the year will be handed out Tuesday at Madison Square Garden during the first of the Big East Tournament in New York.
