Via CT Capitol Report, here's a nice catch by the Washington Times: Linda McMahon's Senate campaign is subcontracting out its ad production to World Wrestling Entertainment, the McMahon family business.
The detail is not included in the McMahon campaign's FEC reports (though in this case, that's allowed). The Times spotted it in SEC filings by the pro-wrestling company, which reported the activity.
"Mrs. McMahon's election team engaged the Company to produce certain television advertisements during the initial months of the campaign," the SEC filing said, according to the Times.
The campaign's outlay to the WWE was reported at $162,000.
Doing her part to retain jobs in Connecticut, I guess?
