Toyota: What goes around comes around

Five years ago I wanted to trade in my truck. I did a Consumer Report research and came up with the Toyota RAV or the Subaru Forester.

I went to a local car dealer to test-drive the RAV. I liked it. The dealer gave me a price quote and I went home to think about it, never checking out the Subaru.

I went the next day and the salesman upped the price by $2,000. A salesman said with Toyotas being the best cars and so popular, he could do "whatever he wanted."

I walked out and drove to a Subaru dealer and the same day purchased a new Outback Legacy at $2,000 less than my projected price. This is a great car.

What goes around, comes around.

All the problems happening to Toyota seem just. They didn't admit their problems and still aren't completely admitting the extent of the defects. People have died.

I write today because I have been watching all the deals and commercials this past week going on at Toyota. I still am waiting for the whole story of what went wrong with the "best cars."

Thank you, Subaru. I have had minor problems, but always perfect service.
