Chuck
8 p.m., NBC
Talk about a dramatic curve of improvement! More like a sheer cliff of improvement. Since the très rocky start, things have gotten better and better. Last week's episode, in which Morgan discovered Chuck's secret and the BuyMore-atics stage a revolution that included Jeffster performance of Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Fortunate Son" and a reenactment of the flag raising on Iwo Jima! Come on! Tonight, it looks like Casey goes over to The Ring, but you know he doesn't. Not Casey. And hopefully, Ellie and Awesome move away. Move away Ellie. You were made for Doctors without Borders.
American Pickers
9 p.m., History
Kids, a great friend of mine from college who lives in D.C., is an addicted and quite talented junker. She adores this show. So this is me, giving it due diligence for her, without ever actually watching it. Tonight, "Mike and Frank travel to New Orleans and encounter a quirky antique dealer with a sprawling collection; a relic hunter's collection includes fossils; rare visible gas pumps; automotive graveyard with more than 2,000 motorbikes."
Nurse Jackie
9 p.m., Showtime
Next Monday is the start of season 2. I am as addicted to this as Jackie is to snorting whatever pharmaceuticals she can get her twitchy hands on. If you have Showtime and have not checked it out, and you love darkly dark comedy/drama plus great writing and tremendous acting, then I encourage you to check it out. You can Netflix season 1.
With the Valentine's Day holiday approaching, we wanted to see if any of our readers ever received a Valentine's gift that was memorably bad.
