Groton City

Timothy Wright, 20, of 42 Hamilton Ave., Norwich, was charged Wednesday second-degree failure to appear in court.

Groton Town

David Houseman III, 25, of 143 Ashcraft Road, New London, was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended license and failure to have stoplights or turn signals.

John Gaucher, 29, of 247 Whalehead Road, Gales Ferry, was charged Wednesday with driving with a suspended license (alcohol-related), driving with a suspended registration and failure to carry proof of insurance.

Kyle Westerman, 19, of 58 Fort Hill Road, was charged Wednesday with possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sara Karnes, 27, of 76 Hamilton Ave., Norwich, was charged Wednesday possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Montville

Joseph P. Vasington, 36, of 357 Maple Ave., was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and driving unreasonably fast.

New London

Jose DeLeon-Rivera, 29, of 16 Dennison Ave., second floor, was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended license.

John Devine, 29, of Lynn, Mass., was charged Wednesday with second-degree failure to appear in court.

Norwich

Thomas Evans, 20, of 164 Central Ave., was charged Tuesday with first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment and risk of injury to a minor.

Nilda Hall, 26, of no certain address, was charged Tuesday with possession of more than 4 ounces of marijuana and two counts of violation of probation.

Joseph Gingerelli, 50, of 52 Pine St., Jewett City, was charged Wednesday with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Old Saybrook

Steven J. Friedler, 29, of 8 Highview Road, Madison, was charged Tuesday with possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a dangerous weapon, weapons in a motor vehicle and failure to obey an overhead signal.

Yogesh D. Khunti, 21, of East Haven, was charged with possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

State police - Montville

Jeffrey Almeida, 24, of Corrigan-Radgowski Correctional Center, was charged Tuesday with possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana.

Roger St. Jean, 45, of 43 Community Ave., Plainfield, was charged Wednesday in Sprague with second-degree failure to appear in court.

Jonathan Varder, 25, of 10 Ethel Court, Norwich, was charged Wednesday in Voluntown with criminal violation of a protective order.

Stonington

Brian P. Huard, 53, of 109 River Crest Drive, Pawcatuck, was charged Tuesday with interfering with a police officer, third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

Brett A. Williamson, 21, of 22 Pearl St., was charged Tuesday with third-degree assault and creating a public disturbance.

Waterford

Patricia Cairns, 48, of 82 Longview St., was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended license.
