Man charged with leaving scene of one-car accident

Montville - State police charged a Gales Ferry man with evading responsibility after he allegedly fled the scene of a motor vehicle accident early Wednesday morning.

Police said around 3:30 a.m., a 2006 Honda Civic driven by Brandon Curlee, 23, of 30 Overlook Road, Gales Ferry, was traveling northbound on the Montville Connector when it ran off the right side of the road, overturned and rolled to the left side of the roadway into the median. Police charged Curlee with evading responsibility for allegedly fleeing the scene of the accident.

Curlee was transported to an unknown hospital for complaint of neck pain and contusions to the face.
