WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Eight Republican candidates for Conn. governor are scheduled to face off in their first live, televised debate.
The hour-long match-up will air at 7 p.m. Thursday on NBC Connecticut.
The list of candidates includes Lt. Gov. Michael Fedele, Greenwich businessman Tom Foley, Chester First Selectman Tom Marsh, Simsbury business executive Oz Griebel, Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton, former Congressman Larry DeNardis, Newington Mayor Jeff Wright, and home loan agent Christopher Duffy Acevedo.
Some of the candidates have formally announced plans to seek the GOP nomination while others are exploring the possibility.
