Norwich - Police arrested a Norwich man Thursday night on charges that he stabbed a person over a drug debt.
Jeffrey Savoy, 20, of 390 Norwich Ave., was charged with second-degree assault, interfering with police and breach of peace.
Police said the stabbing occurred around 7:45 p.m. on Norwich Avenue. Savoy fled the scene but was quickly apprehended.
Police said the victim's injuries were minor. The victim was treated and released from the William W. Backus Hospital.
Savoy is being held on a $75,000 bond, pending his arraignment today in Norwich Superior Court.
