Stepping Out for Community Dining Room

Foggy weather (and a decidedly soggy finish) didn't deter the many folks who turned out for the seventh annual Shoreline Walkathon to benefit Community Dining Room (CDR) on May 8. Here, Emily Tabor, 8, of Branford, lends a little color to the parade of participants making strides to help raise funds for non-profit CDR at the start of the two-mile walk. A thundershower later ushered all walkers across the finish line at the Owenego Inn. Tabor was joined on the walk by her twin brother Sam and their mom Mindy Tabor.
