Sun, Huskies well represented at WNBA All-Star Game

Fans at Friday's open practice saw ten current or former players from the Connecticut Sun or the University of Connecticut tuning up for Saturday's All-Star Game at Mohegan Sun Arena.

Sue Bird, Swin Cash, Tina Charles, Renee Montgomery, Maya Moore and Diana Taurasi will play for Team USA coach Geno Auriemma with former Huskie Asjha Jones and her Connecticut Sun teammate Kara Lawson taking part in the Team USA camp. Former Sun standouts Katie Douglas and Lindsay Whalen will suit up for the WNBA All-Stars.
