Stonington - Police dog Fritz and K-9 Officer Greg Howard caught two of the three youths who police say broke into the Cove Ledge Package Store on Route 1 late Sunday night and then fled into a nearby marsh.

Police were called to the store at 11:18 p.m. after they say three people broke the front window of the store, grabbed several bottles of liquor and fled.

Police charged Tibor Pusztai, 19, with a last known address on Shewville Road in Ledyard, and a 17-year-old Ledyard boy with third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and second-degree criminal mischief. They appeared in New London Superior Court this morning after being held overnight on $20,000 bonds.

Police are still looking for a third person who witnesses said was involved in the burglary. Anyone with information can call police at 860-599-4411.
