Old Saybrook – The developer for the condominium-marina affordable-housing project on Ferry Road has withdrawn the application, according to the town’s land-use department.

The Zoning Commission public hearing on the matter, scheduled for tonight, has been canceled.

“Marina Village” had been proposed on 18 acres of land at 142 Ferry Road. The project would have included the existing 289-slip marina, its commercial boating services, a 150-seat restaurant and 2,000 square feet of commercial and office space.
