The letter to the editor titled "Only A-bomb apology should be from Japan," published Aug. 15, excoriated the Japanese for Pearl Harbor and for not surrendering soon enough. The letter writer left out a couple of rather important facts:
• President Franklin D. Roosevelt, a wretched liar, refused prior to Pearl Harbor to see the Japanese envoy who sought to avoid war.
• President Roosevelt knew beforehand of the possible attack on Pearl Harbor but refused to advise the Navy commanders.
President Roosevelt and another liar, Winston Churchill, wanted war for no good reason.
