Police are investigating three overnight burglaries Thursday that occurred in Ledyard Center and Preston.
In one burglary, Ledyard police said someone entered Ledyard Town Hall and took change from two different offices. In the second, cash and change was taken from the Ledyard Congregational Church. In both burglaries, entry was gained through windows, police said.
In Preston, the burglary occurred at the St. James church on Route 2A, with damage being done to several doors and windows.
