Ater Majok's future at UConn could be over. The Hartford Courant reported Friday that coach Jim Calhoun said the end of Majok's playing career at UConn is very possible.

"We're talking to Ater about his future, yeah," Calhoun told the Courant. "That's all I can say. … He hasn't made any decision yet, but he could certainly go back and play in the Australian professional league. Nothing's been determined yet, but there's a chance that kind of thing could happen."

Majok, a 6-foot-11 forward who turned 23 on July 4, averaged 2.3 points, three rebounds and 14.6 minutes last season as a freshman.

Majok, who is from the Sudan, played for the Huskies for the first time last December.
