Norwich parking administrator Judi Rizzuto tells me the date has been changed for the public parking informational meeting. The meeting will be held Monday, Sept. 27 at 6 p.m. at City Hall room 335.

Come on that night to discuss how the downtown parking changes are working. Just to recap, the commission on June 1 enacted new parking regulations downtown. Most on-street spaces were converted to 30-minute maximum parking, with the area of lower Broadway and a portion of Main Street designated as 15-minute zones.

A few lots and the top floor of the Main Street parking garage were designated as long-term free parking.

The commission had few comers during a July informational meeting on the changes, and this time booked a larger meeting room. The members would like to see some faces looking back at them.
