Mystic - At 9:40 this morning the elegant motor steam yacht Cangarda is expected to pass through the Mystic drawbridge on it way to Mystic Seaport.

The museum's schooner Brilliant is slated to lead the 126-foot yacht up the Mystic River where there will be a short welcoming ceremony. The yacht will remain on display for six months, but visitors will not be able to go aboard.

Cangarda is the last surviving American-built steam yacht in the country and one of only three of its type left in the world.

A four-year restoration was completed in 2008.
