Backus Health Center in Montville temporarily closed

Montville – The William W. Backus Hospital's Backus Montville Health Center is closed today through Sunday as it moves to its new location.

A new Montville Backus Health Center will open next door to the existing location on Monday.

In addition to primary care, urgent care, lab and X-ray services, the new 80 Norwich-New London Turnpike facility will feature more space and additional parking.

Anyone seeking health center services during the closure can go to the Colchester or Plainfield health centers.

Hours for the new health center will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lab and X-ray hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
