Incumbent Democratic state Sen. Andrew Maynard of Stonington and his Republican challenger Stuart Norman of Griswold will continue what they are calling their Civility Tour on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Ekonk Grange on Route 49 in Sterling.

The two candidates for the 18th District state Senate seat have met six times to discuss issues facing the state but have refrained from any personal attacks.

Norman said Monday that a woman came up to him after their last appearance in Groton and told him it was nice to have two candidates doing this.

"We're not doing the usual stuff," Norman said.
