After months of waiting to sink your teeth into some authentic Italian food, the day has finally come.

Buon Appetito has opened its doors to the public and is ready to serve you breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I stopped by opening day Thursday afternoon to check the place out. It is classy, yet comfortable and inviting at the same time. They even have an outside patio that looks like it will be quite the place on a warm summer evening.

The restaurant isn't quite ready to serve breakfast yet, but is open at 11:30 today, Saturday and Sunday for lunch and dinner. They close at 10:30 p.m.

On Monday, they'll start serving breakfast at 6:30 a.m.

The restaurant is located at 386 Norwich-Westerly Road, North Stonington.
