Irivne sparks Waterford win in Class L first round

After missing a potential game winner in the ECC semifinals, Matt Irvine scored ten points off the bench to spark Waterford in their 60-49 win over Middletown in the first round of the CIAC Class L playoffs. Nolan Long had 15 points, Davonta Valentine had 13, and Pat Rogers had 10 for the Lancers.
