H.S. lacrosse: St. Bernard girls outlast Stonington

Stonington — Carley Phillips scored her fourth goal with two minutes left in the second overtime Tuesday and gave the St. Bernard School girls' lacrosse team its 13-12 win over Stonington in an Eastern Connecticut Conference Small Division game.

Cat Satti had three goals for St. Bernard (2-4, 2-1) and Anne Foley had two goals.

Claire Chambers had six goals for Stonington (2-5, 2-1) and Maya DePasquale added two goals.

In other games:

• Kat Cook had three goals for East Lyme in its 18-3 win over Fitch in the ECC Large. Lexi Hadcock, Madison Cohen, Erin DeLucca, Jessie Lillquist and Kiki Ryan each had two goals for the Vikings (5-1, 4-0). Brooke Starz, Liz Nolan and Jackie Kokomoor scored for Fitch (5-3-1, 2-2).

• Cara LoBianco and Olivia Klinikowski scored four goals apiece and Ledyard defeated Bacon Academy 15-9 in the ECC Small. Michaela Holland and Caitlin Larmann each scored three goals for Ledyard (4-1, 3-0). Olivia Cormier scored four goals and Taylor Emmerson had 20 saves for Bacon (1-4, 1-3).

• Tatum Fahs had five goals as Woodstock Academy beat Wheeler 16-15. Ashley Iorio had 11 goals for Wheeler (0-4) and Amy White added four goals.

• Erin McCarthy scored six goals and Katie Comerford had five goals and two assists as Old Lyme defeated Valley Regional 14-4 in the Shoreline Conference. Meredith Britton made 10 saves for Old Lyme (2-1-1, 2-0). Valley is 2-3, 0-2.

Boys

• Liam Williams had four goals and two assists for East Lyme in its 13-3 win over Fitch in the ECC Large. Chad Berry had three goals and an assist for East Lyme (5-2, 3-1) and Mike DeFaria had two goals and two assists. Ian Bond scored twice for Fitch (2-5, 1-3).

• Eddie Moran scored three goals and Rob Aiello, Avery Dodd and Thomas Riordan had two apiece as Stonington stayed unbeaten in the ECC Small Division with a 14-2 win over St. Bernard. The Bears are 6-0, 3-0. Will Ryan and Casey Yaworski scored for St. Bernard (0-8, 0-3).

• Oleg Deyle had five goals and Sam Wensinger had seven assists for St. Thomas More in a 12-9 victory over Rocky Hill. Wensinger also went 23-for-26 on faceoffs for the Chancellors (4-0), while Jimmy Newman scored three goals and Tyler Kiener and Karl Manhardt two goals each. Kevin Howard made 13 saves in goal. Rocky Hill is 4-3.

• Ledyard scored seven times in the third quarter to beat Bacon Academy 15-1 in the ECC Small Division. Connor Sweet scored three goals for Ledyard (5-1, 2-0) and Jon Schilke, Darren Alexander and Mike Evans had two each. Slade Baxley made 14 saves in goal for the victory. Alex Davenport scored the only goal for Bacon (2-6, 2-2).
