Old Lyme — Medalist Jack Ayers shot a two-over par 37 Wednesday to lift the Old Saybrook High School golf team to wins over Old Lyme and East Hampton in a Shoreline Conference meet at Black Hall Club.
The Rams (13-1) finished with a 166, ahead of Old Lyme (178) and East Hampton (215).
Matt Cummins shot a 39 for Old Saybrook. Travis Russell led Old Lyme with a 42.
In other matches:
• Ben Cousens shot a low-round 38 to lead Plainfield to its 4-3 win over Bacon Academy in the Eastern Connecticut Conference Medium Division. Dave Gunas shot a 40 for Bacon (4-8, 4-5).
• Medalist Justin Bohara shot a 2-over par 38 and Norwich Free Academy defeated East Lyme 5.5-1.5 in an ECC Large Division match at Norwich Golf Course. The Wildcats are 8-3, 7-2. East Lyme is 7-6-2, 4-4-1.
• Dylan Rapoport won medalist honors with a 5-over par 41 and Wheeler defeated St. Bernard 4-3 in the ECC Small. Colby Jones shot a 43 for Wheeler (4-6, 3-4). Chris Colucci led the Saints (0-16, 0-7) with a 46.
• Waterford's Nick Hedden won medalist honors (38) as his team beat Fitch Tuesday 4-1 in an ECC Large Division match. Jon DiClementi shot a 50 for Waterford (7-5, 4-5). Albrianna Farnum shot a 42 for the Falcons (0-11, 0-8) and Antonio Santiago shot a 46.
• Jack Ayers shot a low-round 36 for Old Saybrook as it beat Morgan of Clinton Tuesday, 162-180, in the Shoreline Conference. Matt Cummins shot a 40 for Old Saybrook (11-1) and J.T Giegerich shot a 42.
Volleyball
• Petar Mitev had 22 digs in NFA's 20-25, 25-22, 23-25, 28-30 loss to Hand of Madison, 3-1. Daryll Ferguson had 24 kills and Gage Black had 28 assists for NFA (5-7).
Girls' lacrosse
• Williams finished the season with a 16-7 loss to Lincoln in the SENE semifinals in Rehoboth, Mass. Annie Nelson and Kat Evans each had two goals for Williams (8-6), which trailed 11-3 at halftime.
• Maya DePasquale had four goals and two assists and Stonington scored nine first-half goals en route to a 11-6 win over St. Bernard in the ECC Small. Jennie Poirier and Libby Morrison scored two goals apiece for the Bears (7-9, 6-2). Maria Theiler had four goals and Erin Amarello made 18 saves for the Saints (3-10-1, 3-3-1).
Boys' lacrosse
• Rocky Hill of Rhode Island eliminated St. Thomas More from the Southeastern New England Independent Schools Tournament, 10-6. Jimmy Newman scored three goals for the Chancellors (9-2).
