Guilford's Bethel Assembly is once again inviting local veterans from all military branches, and their families, out to enjoy a Thank You luncheon during Memorial Day weekend. The event is set for Sunday May 29. This marks the 14th year for the picnic, which delivers a special service at 11 a.m. followed by an all-you-can eat celebration luncheon for veterans and family members. The free event takes place on the grounds of the Bethel Assembly of God, 246 Boston Street.
