Want to have your photos of vistas in and around Griswold, Jewett City or Lisbon published in a calendar? Well, now's your chance.

Meg Vantine, Slater Library director, said local photogs have until Saturday, June 4, to submit photos of landscapes or local landmarks for the chance to have them published in a Griswold calendar to be published later this year.

She's already got about 20 to 40 submissions, and Vantine said there are some excellent photos. With only 12 months in the year, be sure to submit your best. Five per patron are allowed, Vantine said, and can be submitted in hard copy at Slater Library, 26 Main Street, or emailed to slaterlibrary@yahoo.com.

Photos will be chosen on Monday, June 6.
