On Tuesday, September 27 at 6:30 p.m., the Salem Library welcomes Louanne Romaneck, i.e. The Budget Lady, to give advice on maintaining household budgets. In these frightening fiscal times, it is helpful to get a better idea of where the household money goes. No one wants a personal debt crisis even if we have to endure a national one. Using Excel, Ms. Romaneck has created a multitude of spreadsheet forms while working as a paralegal managing legal and probate accounts over many years. She is also adept in using Quicken, Quick Books Pro, and MS Money. Her goal is not to make people think they will get rich by using a budget plan, but rather to show them how using a budget plan can give them a better quality of life.
