Dr. Richard Albrecht and Mrs. Dolores Albrecht of East Lyme are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Albrecht, M.D. to Colin Wilson-Murphy, son of Ms. Cindy Wilson of Canton, Mass., and Mr. Lawrence Murphy of Southborough, Mass.
Lauren is a graduate of East Lyme High School, Trinity College and University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She is a first year OB-GYN resident at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan.
Colin is a graduate of Buckingham Brown & Nichols School, Trinity College and Columbia Business School, where he received his MBA. He is a financial analyst at Longacre Fund Management LLC in Manhattan.
They exchanged wedding vows on May 28, 2011 during a traditional Catholic Mass celebrated by Father Tomasz Albrecht at St. Agnes Church in Niantic. A reception followed at Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park overlooking Long Island Sound in Waterford. The man of honor was brother of the bride, Nicholas Albrecht. The best man was brother of the groom, Barrett Wilson-Murphy. Matron of honor was Leigh Albrecht and bridesmaids were Molly Wilson-Murphy, Olivia Vienneau, and Renee Vienneau. Groomsmen were Matthew Albrecht and Juan Padro.
The couple celebrated their honeymoon in Sardinia and currently reside in Manhattan.
