New London Landmarks to host mayoral candidate forum
New London — New London Landmarks is hosting a mayoral candidate forum next Thursday (Oct.27 ) that will focus on historic preservation and urban development and planning.
A meet-and-greet will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed at 7 p.m. by a 90-minute question-and-answer period. The event will take place at the New London Public Library.
The moderator is Attorney Scott Sawyer.
All six mayoral candidates are invited: write-in candidate Michael Buscetto III, petitioning candidates Laurie Hopkins-Cavanagh, Andrew Lockwood and the current ceremonial Mayor Martin T. Olsen Jr.; Democrat Daryl Justin Finizio; and Republican City Councilor Rob Pero.
