Westerly - The Washington Trust Community Skating Center will open at 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 25 and operate seven days a weeks through March.
Located at 85 Main St. on land owned by the Westerly Land Trust and W.H. Properties, Inc., the center will offer open skates and skating lessons and be available for hockey, private parties, ice rental, and school use.
The capital investment for the rink was made by the Royce Family Fund, and the facility will be managed by the Ocean Community YMCA. Washington Trust provided funding to support the project.
