Last weekend, Mohegan Sun was the place to be as two of the world's most popular rappers graced the casino's stage and performed in front of a sold-out crowd.
On Friday night, Jay-Z and Kanye West performed hit songs from their Watch The Throne tour — check out a co-worker's awesome review of the concert here.
Next up on the tour stops are Toronto, Detroit and Pittsburgh. I wonder whether Jay-Z's lovely wife Beyonce will hang with her hubby on the tour, since she was in the audience on Friday.
Given the fact that she's pregnant and due in February, I'm not sure how much traveling she'll be able to get in, but she does this for a living right? She recently said that being pregnant makes it harder to breathe while performing, well seriously girl, you're in skin-tight clothes and 5-inch heels and oh, by the way, pregnant! I don't know how you do it so more power to you. I'm sure 99 percent of moms-to-be wouldn't dare of stuffing their feet into Louboutin's let alone banging out some of the best dance moves R&B has ever seen and holding a steady note.
Sources say that also in the audience were several of the New England Patriots including Ochocinco, Aaron Hernandez and Kyle Love.
Maybe taking in a rap-concert was the key to nursing the broken heart of Jersey Shore's Ronnie Ortiz-Margo who recently broke up with 'Shore housemate Sammi. Vinny Guadagnino was also spotted at the concert and moved the concert atmosphere into the Ultra 88 Night Club.
Also spotted last weekend was Boston Celtic's Rajon Rando at the Basketball Hall of Hall Tip-Off game Sunday afternoon in Mohegan Sun Arena. He was there watching Kentucky vs. Old Dominion.
Were you at the concert? Did you happen see Beyonce?
