Giving Thanks

When I was younger (heck, even 3 years ago!), Thanksgiving was just a holiday with some of my favorite foods.  It didn't carry much meaning for me.  Then I had kids and Thanksgiving made a whole lot more sense.

I am beyond lucky to have two happy and healthy babies. My children make every day better.  They make me smile.  They make me laugh.  They challenge me to be better.  They bring out the best in me.  They teach me new things constantly.  They make me love my husband more.

I have learned that so many things I thought were important don't really matter as long as you have a happy family.  And to have a happy family, you need happy kids.  And to have happy kids all you have to do is love them.  And guess what?  Loving them is the easy part.

So, yeah...I'm thankful.  I am infinitely thankful.  I look at what I have and I think I might be the luckiest woman in the world.  Kids will do that to you.

I hope you all gave thanks for something wonderful in your life on Thanksgiving, I know I did.
