Lisa Rebecca Warner and Adam David Pfefferle were united in marriage on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Orange United Methodist Church in Chapel Hill, N.C. A reception at Chamas Churrascaria in Durham, N.C. followed the ceremony. Lisa is the daughter of Chris and Michelle Warner of Wake Forest, N.C., formerly of Old Lyme. Adam is the son of Bob and Julie Pfefferle of Matthews, N.C.

The bride's maid of honor was her best friend since middle school, Shannon Looney. She was also attended by Carly Boyette, and Lauren Pfefferle. The groomsmen were Chris Carlucci, James Downey, Tyler Overcash, and Austin Warner.

Lisa is a graduate of Lyme-Old Lyme High School and the University of Richmond. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Duke University studying genetics and genomics. Adam is a graduate of Charlotte Catholic High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill studying pathology and laboratory medicine.
