Three Huskies make first team All-Big East

UConn placekicker Dave Teggart and defensive tackle Kendall Reyes were repeat selections to the All-Big East Conference football first team on Thursday.

A third Husky, center Moe Petrus, was also a first-team choice in a voting of the Big East's eight head coaches. All three are seniors. In addition, senior offensive tackle Mike Ryan, junior tight end Ryan Griffin, freshman tailback Lyle McCombs, junior defensive end Trevardo Williams, junior cornerback Dwayne Gratz and sophomore punter Cole Wagner made the second team.

CincinnatiRB Isaiah Pead was named Big East Offensive Player of the Year, Cincinnati defensive tackle Derek Wolfe and Rutgers linebacker Khaseem Greene were voted Co-Defensive Players of the Year.
