New London — Senior Kris Dunn had 35 points, 18 rebounds and nine assists Tuesday, leading the New London High School boys' basketball team to a 90-67 win over Bacon Academy in the Eastern Connecticut Conference Large Division.
Keith Porter (17 points), Doug Henton (14) and Malcolm Simmons (14) also scored in double figures for the Whalers (8-2, 3-0). Zak Miazga had 27 points for the Bobcats (4-5, 2-2).
In other games:
• Norwich Free Academy won its third straight game, beating East Lyme, 53-40, in the ECC Large Division. K.J. Robinson had 17 points and Denzel Lancaster added 11 points for the Wildcats (6-3, 3-1) who led 37-30 at the end of the third quarter. Irving Eggleston had 16 points and Harry Thiede added 11 for the Vikings (3-6, 0-4).
• Nolan Long had 16 points and Mike Martin added 15, leading unbeaten Waterford past Griswold, 63-30. The Lancers (8-0) had a 24-13 halftime lead. Zach Wood had six points for the Wolverines (2-6).
• Jackson Donahue had 25 points five rebounds and three steals as Stonington edged Tourtellotte, 55-52. Will DeFanti had 15 points and Connor Buckley scored 11 for the Bears (7-3).
• Greg Pike made three free throws with 2.8 seconds left to force overtime and finished with 18 points, as Woodstock beat Fitch, 65-60, in the ECC Large Division. Chris Lowry had 20 points and nine rebounds for the Centaurs (4-4, 4-1). Chad Graham had 26 points for the Falcons (4-5, 0-5).
• A.J. Allard scored 15 points, Nick Clemons had 14 and Matt Cicchese added nine, lifting Montville past Lyman Memorial, 57-48. The Indians are 3-6. Joey Olearnick had 12 points and Austin Creamer had nine and Brian Myjak eight for the Bulldogs (1-7).
• Darnay Gray scored 21 points and Thomas Whipple added 12 in Ledyard's 68-41 win over St. Bernard. Khary Childs had nine points and 12 rebounds for the Colonels (6-3). Izzy Davila scored 17 points and Petey Aldrich had 15 points for the Saints (3-6).
Girls
• Meghan Autencio had 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in Montville's 54-40 win over Lyman Memorial. Rachael Orbe contributed nine points and 13 rebounds and Cassidy Bundy added 13 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocks for the Indians (9-1). Alyson Tacchi had 16 points for the Bulldogs (7-4).
• Christine Hadfield had 21 points and 12 rebounds, leading Waterford past Griswold, 59-49. Addie Martucci had 17 points and Alyssa Hancock added six assists for the Lancers who led by 10 at halftime and 16 at the end of the third quarter. Samantha Rentz had 30 points and Kirsten Drobiak had 14 for the Wolverines (3-7).
• Sarah Rogers scored 16 points and had 10 rebounds, leading Bacon Academy to a 70-30 win over New London in an ECC Large Division game. Carlee Putnam had 13 points, six assists and seven steals, Michaela Siver scored 15 and Kelsey McCarthy had 10 points for Bacon (9-1, 4-1). Jelitza Rodriguez had 10 points for New London (2-9, 0-5).
• Michelle Klinikowski scored 12 points and Kylie Fustini had 10 points and nine rebounds as Ledyard defeated St. Bernard, 41-26. The Colonels are 9-2. Casey Sullivan scored 11 points for St. Bernard (4-6).
• Margot Calmar had a team-high 10 points and five steals in Stonington's 47-13 win over Tourtellotte. The Bears (4-7) led 24-2 at halftime.
• Woodstock Academy beat Fitch 42-38 in an ECC Large Division game. Brittany Murphy scored 13 points, Aunisha Dillon had 11 points and Lexis Foster had 12 rebounds for Fitch (5-5, 1-4).
• Cromwell took a 41-16 halftime lead and defeated Old Saybrook, 68-42. Kara McAvoy and Paige Trabucchi had 14 points apiece for Old Saybrook (6-4). Cromwell is 10-1.
• Nikki Strizzi had 17 points and four steals in Old Lyme's 37-34 loss to East Hampton in the Shoreline Conference. Hannah Behringer had five points and 11 rebounds for the Wildcats (2-9, 2-9).
