Hartford — Sen. Edith Prague, D-Columbia, continues to make a promising recovery from her recent stroke, her legislative spokesman said Wednesday.

"She is resting and recovering and doing fine from all reports," spokesman Lawrence Grotheer said.

He declined to say where the veteran senator is recuperating from the minor stroke she experienced Dec. 25, citing the family's request for privacy. He noted that Prague, 86, has been in contact with her legislative staff to assign them work.

"If there's a better indication of her recuperation, I can't think of it," he said.
