Lyme Garden Club to hold monthly meeting Feb. 14

Lyme – The Lyme Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. on Feb. 14 at the Lyme Fire Co., 213 Hamburg Road (Route 156). The business meeting will be followed by the free program "Ground Covers in the Landscape" at 11 a.m. Guests are invited to come at 9:30 a.m. for refreshments and to meet club members. Bill Harris, of Acer Gardens in Deep River, will present an audio-visual program and bring plant materials to help us decide what will work for our special needs - covering large areas, how high, how low, evergreen or deciduous, herbaceous or woody, aggressive or slow growing, annual or perennial, and more.
