Snow Birds in Essex

Winter, after giving a sneak peek last October, finally made its presence authoritatively known last weekend, dumping about half a foot of snow on the Valley region. Here, a line of geese (with the odd duck here and there) battens down on the ice at the edge of the Essex waterfront.
