Norwich – Norwich Police today hired two police officers who have worked for New London police for the past two years.
Peter M. Karasuk, 24, of Hopkinton, RI and F. Steven Callender, 34, of Ledyard were hired today, Norwich Police Chief Louis J. Fusaro announced. Both are graduates of the Connecticut Police Academy, and started field orientation training in Norwich today.
Upon completion of field training, Officers Karasuk and Callender will be assigned to a shift within the department’s Patrol Division, Fusaro said.
“These officers come to Norwich with policing experience, an excellent work history and were highly recommended by their supervisors in the New London Police Department,” Fusaro said. “The addition of these two experienced officers will make an immediate impact on the streets of Norwich.”
The reader web chat with Mitchell Etess, Chief Executive Officer of the Mohegan Gaming Authority, was held on Thursday, May 24.
