A native of Guilford, Ian Perry recently opened up his own branch of the Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc., franchise on the north end of the Town Green. Currently operating with a growing staff of three salespeople, a processor, and an underwriter, Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc., is a direct lender specializing in residential mortgages, purchasing, and refinancing. Additionally, services are provided for reverse mortgages as well as FHA, conventional, and jumbo loans.

In 2001, Perry worked as a financial advisor. He has been active in the mortgage industry since 2006. He also remains active in the community by volunteering his time as treasurer of the Guilford Chamber of Commerce.
