Nancy J. Hutson, a former site leader for Pfizer Inc. campuses in Groton and New London who retired in 2005, has joined the board of directors of BioCryst Pharmaceuticals Inc., a North Carolina drug-development company.
The Hartford Business Journal reports that Hutson, a former senior vice president at Pfizer who was succeeded in her site-leader role by Toni Hoover, will bring her three decades of drug-development experience to the company.
BioCryst is currently developing drugs to treat infectious diseases.
Hutson also sits on the boards of Cubist Pharmaceuticals Inc. of Cambridge, Mass., and Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc. of Chadds Ford, Pa.
