The Dime Bank today announced a new vice president and director of marketing and sales for the Norwich-based community bank.
Diane G. Papadakos assumed the new role earlier this month, and she will be responsible for the Dime’s marketing and promotions, advertising, public relations, branding and community relations. She reports to Cheryl Calderado, the bank's senior vice president of administration, services, sales and marketing.
Papadakos, a New London resident, has more than two decades of experience as a marketing executive within the financial, manufacturing and real estate investment/property management industries. Previously, she worked as an executive for The Hartford financial-services company, where she spent more than four years managing its company-wide marketing communications and multimedia communication efforts.
“We are thrilled to have Diane join the Dime, bringing with her a great breadth and depth of valuable experience in marketing in the financial and consumer/commercial industries,” said Nick Caplanson, chief executive officer and president.
Papadakos received her MBA in entrepreneurial thinking and innovation and master's in communications and information management from Bay Path College and her bachelor's in communications and journalism from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
The reader web chat with Mitchell Etess, Chief Executive Officer of the Mohegan Gaming Authority, was held on Thursday, May 24.
