The Children's Museum of Southeastern Connecticut, 409 Main St., Niantic, announces that admission to the museum has been rolled back to $6 per person through March 31. Children under 1 year old get in for free.

A new exhibit, "Dance of the Earth: Rocks & Fossils of Connecticut, Past and Present," opens on Feb. 1 with related drop-in activities on the weekend. Other activities include the Discovery Lab, Seaside Village, the Global Village and "Music for All Children," an exploration of movement and sound.

The Children's Museum of Southeastern Connecticut aims to encourage learning and spark imagination by engaging children and families through creative and hands-on play in a safe and accessible community environment. The museum is open until 6 p.m. every Friday this winter.
