Groton— A sailor from Submarine Group Two has organized the group’s second annual Black History Month Gospel Choir Concert for Feb. 11 at the Shepherd of the Sea Chapel. Yeoman First Class Joseph Brickhouse also serves as an ordained minister. He volunteered to host the annual concert to highlight the impact of African Americans and their religious contributions to our culture. This year churches in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey have been invited to participate in the gospel choir concert.
