A musical about Benedict Arnold?

Yes, strange as it may sound, Claire Bessette reports here that a musical on America's most dreaded traitor may be in the works. News of it surfaced in the taping of a show about Norwich, Arnold's birthplace.

 

Brett Bernardini, artistic director of the neighboring Spirit of Broadway Theater, said he is working with New York playwrights to produce a musical about Arnold's career - good and bad.

 

Well, we know it won't end well.
