You can't always judge a person by the company he or she keeps. Jazz trumpeter and rising star Dominick Farinacci, though, hangs with some Serious Folks - having performed recently with Jeff Beck, Jamie Cullum, Wynton Marsalis, Ron Carter, Mulgrew Miller, and the Cleveland Orchestra.
Now touring with his quartet behind their sophomore album, "Dawn of Goodbye," the 28-year-old Farinacci might be reliably expected to present a terrific show of jazz pop when he appears tonight in the Garde's Oasis Room.
Tickets for the event include pre-show Lite Bites at 6:30, at which the artists will mingle.
