Groton — Groton Town police responded to a report of a home invasion Friday at 11 a.m.

Witnesses told police that two black men in their late teens to early 20s, wearing red and black hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans, kicked in the rear door of a home at 43 Ivy Court Friday.

Police said the home’s only resident fled through a window, ran to a neighbor’s house and called 9-1-1.

No one was injured and the case is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (860)441-6712.
