Ledyard — A Norwich was arrested Friday in connection with a Gales Ferry burglary that occurred last year.
Barry A. Briggs, 28, of 104 Summit Street, Norwich, has been charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny.
Police said that during a burglary on Richard Road burglary on Dec. 17 Briggs stole a large number of tools, electronics and household items.
An investigation by the patrol and detective divisions of the Ledyard Police Department led to the discovery of those items.
Briggs is being held on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court Tuesday.
