New London Main Street needs to raise an additional $4,000 to reach its Annual Appeal goal. The organization, which promotes New London's downtown economic and cultural advancement, has extended its fundraising campaign in hopes of achieving its $20,000 target.

One reason for the ambitious goal is the installation and management of the Rink on Parade Plaza, the biggest project in New London Main Street history.

In addition, the organization has moved to new headquarters at 147 State St. Volunteers donated hours to pack and transport office contents, but expenses were incurred with the move.
