New London Little League baseball and softball registration - Saturdays, Feb. 25 and March 3, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Martin Center, first floor. League ages: Minor League (6-8), Farm League (9-11), Baseball Little League (9-12), Girls' Softball (9-12), Senior Softball (13-16). New players ages 9-12 must try out. Fees: $75 for one child, $100 for two or three children, $150 for four children and over. Original birth certificate and proof of residency are required at registration. Waterford (13-15) Babe Ruth - Registration: Sunday, Feb. 26, noon-3:30 p.m., G's Fitness & Nutrition, 316 Boston Post Rd., Waterford. Fees: $90 one player, $140 two players, $175 three or more players (new players must bring birth certificate). Coast Guard Academy one-day softball clinic - Sunday, Feb. 26, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Roland Fieldhouse. Associate coach Amanda Illinger and members of the Coast Guard team that has earned three straight trips to the NCAA tournament, will work on hitting, base running, throwing, bunting, fielding and conditioning. U.S. Coast Guard Academy Spring Training Baseball Camp — March 2-6 for ages 9-10 and 13-15 and March 7-11 for ages 11-12 and 16-18. The 9-10 age group will go from 4:45-6:45 p.m. on weekdays and 9-11 a.m. on the weekend dates, while ages 13-15 will go from 6:45-8:45 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on the weekends. The 11-12 age group will go from 4:45-6:45 p.m. on weekdays and 9-11 a.m. on the two weekend dates, while ages 16-18 will go from 6:45-8:45 p.m. on the weekdays and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on weekends. Waterford North Little League registration - Saturday, March 3, 9 a.m.-noon at Clark Lane Middle School Cafeteria; Thursday, March 8, 5-7 p.m. at Quaker Hill School cafeteria.
